It's the first question most people ask before switching to home carbonation: how much sparkling water will one cylinder actually make? The honest answer is — it depends on how fizzy you like it. Here's the full breakdown.
The short answer
A single Bullèsque CO₂ cylinder (425g of food-grade CO₂) makes 30–60 litres of sparkling water depending on your carbonation level:

- Don't over-carbonate. If "Medium" is enough for you, you don't need "Strong" — you'll stretch each cylinder further.
- Seal and chill after carbonating to keep the fizz in the bottle longer, so you're not re-carbonating the same water.
